TRISIA SOYBEAN WHITENING SKIN CARE SERIES REVIEW (SPONSORED)

Hello all,

After reviewing so many make up lately, now it's time for skin care review. Trisia Cosmetics collabs with Surabaya Beauty Blogger, and I got a chance to try their best selling skin care series.

Trisia Cosmetics has established since June 1999. Trisia itself stands for Putri Asia.
Trisia also means "Glorious" women in life goal and never give up to reach their dream.
Trisia has a commitment in using natural ingredients and safety, such as "paraben free".

In this collaboration, Trisia offered us two option between soybean whitening series or acne series. Since my problem is more into dark spot, discolouration and dull skin rather than acne, so I chose to try their Soybean series. Here's the range.

From this Soybean range, Trisia gave me 4 products. They are :
~ Soybean facial foam
~ Soybean Whitening Day Moisturizer (SPF 18)
~ Soybean Whitening Night Cream
~ Soybean Whitening Serum

Now I'm gonna review each of them.

1. TRISIA SOYBEAN FACIAL FOAM

This facial foam contains soybean protein to help moisturize the skin. It also has small beads to clean the dead skin cells.

Here's the ingredients :

This facial foam has a milky white color with some blue beads in it.

I really like this facial foam because when you massage on your skin, it doesn't produce bubble. And the texture is so milky smooth. It doesn't feel dry at all. Usually a facial foam will make my skin feel tacky. But this one is different. It has a light fragrance which still tolerable by my skin.

For this facial foam, I rate it 4.5 out of 5.

2. TRISIA SOYBEAN WHITENING DAY MOISTURIZER (SPF 18)

It written that since ancient time, the benefit of soybean has been known. Modern technology shows that soybean can lighten and bind water so itvcan fade moist and maintains skins smoothness.
Protection to UVA and UVB which can cause adverse effect on the skin.

You can see the ingredients at the back of the packaging box.

This moisturizer is claimed to brighten, moisturized and smoothen the skin.

The texture is like a lotion but it smells like a sunscreen. It absorbed quickly and doesn't feel sticky after application. It also has a little brightening effect after application.

This moisturizer is actually good, but for me who has dry skin, I might need some extra moisturizer under this cream.

For this day moisturizer, I rate it 4 out of 5.

3. TRISIA SOYBEAN WHITENING NIGHT CREAM

It written that since ancient time, the benefit of soybean has been known. Modern technology shows that soybean can lighten and bind water so it can fade black spot, moist and give a smooth texture to your skin.

Soybean whitening night cream intensively fading black spot because it contains soybean extract.

The ingredients is also listed at the back of the packaging box.

The texture is like a gel cream which feel more moisturizing than the day cream.

It has slightly yellow color and easy to spread and absorbed longer compare to their day cream.

The texture is almost the same with day cream but this is more moisturizing. However, I'm a bit bother by the smells. It has a strong chemical fragrance and since I'm sensitive to strong fragrance, I can't use it very often.

For this night cream, I rate it 3.5 out of 5.

4. TRISIA SOYBEAN WHITENING SERUM

This serum contains soybean extract to fade darks spot, brighten & moisturize the skin with microemulsion formula to boost the active whitening ingredient deep into the skin epidermic.

The ingredients is also written at the back of the packaging box.

This serum has a light watery texture with transparent color and has quite strong scent. I use it before using day or night cream.

I actually like the texture of this serum. But it takes time to be fully absorbed and it feels a little bit sticky for a few minutes. So you need to wait until it fully absorbed before applying another cream.

For this serum, I rate this 3 out of 5.

I've been trying this Soybean Whitening Series for 2 weeks but I still combine with my usual skincare routine because this series are containing alcohol and fragrance which I can't use everyday. And I can feel my skin become moist. I haven't seen a dramatic changing in whitening, but I guess it takes time.

Overall, I really love their facial foam. I'm struggling in finding facial foam that didn't irritate my skin. And surpringly, Trisia soybean facial foam has nailed my problem. And I'm so happy to include this product into my skincare routine.

MY FIRST WAXING EXPERIENCE AT THE WAXHAUS

I'm back again today to share about my first waxing experience at the Waxhaus. A new waxing store opening at Supermall Pakuwon. This is their 10th store and the first in Surabaya.

Actually, I was rather skepticle about waxing. I have many hair that I shaved regularly using my ladies shaver. And I did it because I was too afraid to do waxing. I'm a person who can't bear the physical pain. And waxing has scared me since I knew about it.

But few weeks ago, I was offered to try a free waxing treatment from Waxhaus as they collab with Surabaya Beauty Blogger. My friend encourage me to do that and finally I challenged myself to fight my fear.

I arrived at 10 am and went to the meet up poin at Caribou Coffee. There were 10 ladies and 3 person from the Waxhaus team including the owner. We were provided with some breakfast from the Caribou before heading to the Waxhaus store.

So I went to the counter and order 1 slice of macnara pie and a glass of mint condition mocca. That was enough to calm my nerve. 😄 the pie was delicious and the coffee was so refreshing.

While enjoying our breakfast, the owner gave us a short brief about Waxhaus and all the treatment they offered. She also answered some of our question related to the waxing process and treatment.

After finished breakfast, we were guided to the Waxhaus store, located at the new Supermall Pakuwon 2nd floor. Here's how the store look like.

The store is designed in a yellow and green color. There is a big cute girl painting at the front wall of the store. The Waxhaus mascot logo. That was a really nice design of a cozy place. There's a standing board showing the list of their treatment that they offers including each price.

We took a group pic at the front of the store before heading in.

And more group pic with a given goodie bag. 

After taking some pic, we were heading in and we were asked to fill the treatment form. We were free to choose which body part that we want to be treated. For the first trial, I chose half arm part, hoping it will be less hurt than other body part 😂

If you look at the registration wall, there are some small pictures of the cute mascot girl hanging on the side wall and all the pics were showing a happy expression. I think they all bringing the message that waxing is fun. Is it? You'll find out soon 😉

So after registration process, we were guiding in into the waxing room. They have about 10 treatment room inside. Here's how the waxing room looks like.

The room is very clean and cozy. And to be honest, the design of this place remind me of my kindergarten class. Where the wall was painted colorful and many cute picture painted on it.

At that day, 4 therapist were ready to treat us. I took some pic of my friend while they were being treated.

And you can see how relax they were while being treated. They said it wasn't hurt. But I was still nervous. Until there came my turn.

At first, my therapist applied some powder all around my arms that need to be waxed. And after that, she spreaded a warm caramel paste with the applicator and sticked a wax strip on it. They use natural ingredients to make the caramel. You can even safely lick it. My friend did and she said it was sweet. 

I got myself ready while the therapist was about to pull out the strip. 1... 2... 3... and pull..... no scream, no pain. I was totaly surprised. It was unexpected. I thought it will be painful. But the fact, it was nothing. I kinda enjoy it and it was fun to see how my hair was perfectly pulled out. 😍😍😍

After finished waxing all the hair off, the therapist washed all the remaining caramel with wet towel, and then there come the most interesting process. Threading.

Threading is a process to clean our remaining hair using a special thread. And I can see how expert she is doing this job. I don't have a pic of me during that process. But here I stole some pic of my friend Gita during the threading process.

Usually this treatment is using a tweezer. But here they are using special thread. For the eyebrow, chin, and other face part, they didn't use the caramel but they only use thread.

After finished the threading process, I took a pic with my therapist. Oh I forget to mention her name. Her name is Mbak Endah. And she treated me so well. Very neat and gentle that made me feel so relax. Thank you mbak Endah for the great service. ❤❤❤

She told me to avoid bathing with warm water for a day to prevent irritation. And i wasn't allowed to wear any lotion for 2 hours after treatment. She also suggested me to do scrubbing after 2 days.

My skin is very sensitive. I was worried at first because i saw my arms became red after my hair being pulled out. But she said it was a normal reaction that will gone after few minutes. And that was right. 5 minutes after, all the redness were slowly gone and my skin became very very smooth.

The result was totaly different compare to while I did shaving myself. And the most important is, it didn't hurt.
Even if you have so many hair and long enough, I'm pretty sure that the pain is still bearable. It wasn't as bad as you first imagine. I'm being honest, I proved it.

Before leaving, I was given an envelopes with some treatment voucher and member card inside. And the voucher was worth 500K. What a gift 😍😍😍. I can waxed all my hair away for free. Big big big thanks to Waxhaus for all the compliment.
