Today I'm gonna share about my first experience attending the beauty event held by Klinik Estetika Dr. Affandy & Surabaya Beauty Blogger on 27th August 2017.
Klinik Estetika Dr. Affandy is the pioneer of esthetic clinic in Indonesia which established since 1988. It was found by Dr. Moch. Affandy, Sp.KK (K) from Semarang in 1988. And until now, they already has 15 branches in many other cities in Indonesia.
For 31 years, Klinik Estetika Dr. Affandy has proven its existance and consistency in giving the best treatment for skin beauty & health with its principle "Beauty Outside, Happy Inside". This principle value has been proven through their services in many skin treatments depend on each patient needs.

THE EVENT REPORT
As I arrived there, i did the registration, and i was given a goodie bag plus a treatment voucher that i've chosen before.
The event was opened with welcoming speech by MC, followed by introducing some doctor & team. After that, Mr. Agus as the Head of Klinik Estetika Surabaya explained about the history of Klinik Estetika Dr. Affandy (as I've written above) including their vision & mission.
He also introduced the beauty E-commerce service in Klinik Estetika Dr. Affandy, including the registration process, photo & video consultation
He showed us how to register and enter our close up photo to make it easier for the doctor to discover our skin. Claresta became the volunteer to do the registration & photo consultation demo, live in front of us.

The event continued, we're given some detail information from Dr. Ira about the laser treatment, we even got a chance to see the laser treatment demo.

We saw the process of the laser treatment, the beauty assistant closed the patient's eyes to protect it from the laser effect. While Dr. Ira started to treat the patient, i felt a bit scared hearing the sound from the treatment machine. But when the patient was asked whether she felt any pain, she said no. She looked calm and relax.

After leaving the laser treatment room, we had some fun activity. Doorprize!!! They gave 2 doorprize to Surabaya Beauty Blogger's member. Claresta & Nessya won the doorprize by answering the questions correctly. Congratz Girls!!! Look at Claresta's face 😂

After that, we had a clinic tour, guided by Mr. Agus. We visited the registration table, consultation room, facial treatment room, laser treatment room, etc.

One of the most interesting room is the one that located at the second floor. They got spa room. And it smells so good while we entered that room. It has a simple design with comfortable atmosphere.

After finished the clinic tour, we did a group photo together with the Doctors & team. I also took a photo together with Dr. Ira. And the event finished with lunch & closing speech by the MC.

I would like to thank you to Klinik Estetika Dr. Affandy for having me. Here's the goodie bag that i got from the event.

As I've mentioned before, inside my goodie bag, there's a voucher for radio frequency treatment. So I came back the next week to try this treatment.
I went to the registration table to fill the registration form. And then the admin asked me to wait at the waiting room. Coffee, tea & mineral water are provided at the waiting room as a compliment. About 15 minutes later, the nurse called me and i was directed to the consultation room.

At the consultation room, I met Dr. Lucy who's in charge of my treatment. She asked about my skin problem and how to treat my skin correctly.
My skin is a dry sensitive type so she suggested me to not using too much thick foundation or powder as it could make my skin even dryer and more sensitive.
She's so kind and patient answering all of my questions.
After the consultation, I did a skin check. Dr. Lucy asked me to lay down and she checked my skin before the treatment begin.

After the skin checked, Dr. Lucy asked me to wait while the radio frequency machine was being prepared. Radio Frequency is a treatment technology using radio frequency wave to penetrate the deepest part of the skin and boost the collagen production. The result can last for 2-4 weeks depend on our age or skin condition.
After about 5 minutes, i was called again and directed to the treatment room. I laid down and the clinic assistant began to clean my face. She did it very gently. I believe they all are well trained.
After my face completely clean, Dr. Lucy came and started the treatment. She closed my eyes with cottonpad to avoid the the radio frequency effect. Then she began to put some cooling gel on my face. I love how it feels. 😍
At first i was a bit skepticle for any clinic treatment. I always afraid to do facial, laser, etc. I just couldn't stand the pain. But this treatment is not painful at all. It felt like I'm being massaged all over my face with warm tool and it felt so relaxing.

There you can see I still have some break out around my chin due to a wrong choice of toner. I didn't read that the ingredients contains alcohol. My bad 😣 But Dr. Lucy said that this treatment won't matter. So i dare to try even though i have break out.
The treatment took about 15-20 minutes. We had some conversation during treatment. She did it on one side of my face and showed me the difference. That was amazing. My right cheek directly looked slimmer that my left cheek after the treatment. Then she continued doing the treatment on the other side of my face.
After the treatment done, the clinic assistant called Mbak Ika cleaned the remaining gel on my face, then she put moisturizer and sunblock. Like before, she did it very gently. And.... here's the result....
