SHINZUI UME BODY MIST LAUNCHING EVENT & PRODUCT REVIEW

Hi girls, Today I'm back again with my report about the first kawaii event that I attended in 2018 and I was suuuuper excited 😍😍😍.

Last Saturday, on 20th January, I was invited to attend the blogger gathering event of Shinzui Ume Body Mist with the theme "Complete Your Day". They were introducing the 4 new body mist variant with a really cute japanese doll bottle packaging in 4 different colour & fragrance.

This event was held at One Pose Cafe, one of the cutest & instagramable teddy bear cafe located in west Surabaya.

I arrived at 9 am and went to the registration table to fill the registration form. There were 4 Ume-chan standing behind the registration table using pretty kimono to represent the product they were about to launched.

After did the registration, I walked in and there were a mini colorful photobooth provided with a cute japanese cafe design and two big 2 dimension Ume-chan (japanese doll) standing in each side. So cuteee 😍.

I went inside the cafe and I was stunned by the cute decoration inside. It was like entering a childhood wonderland with thousands teddy bears. Everything was decorated in pink and white, just the same as our dress code.

I couldn't resist to grab my camera and took lots of picture before the event started. I was lucky to came a bit earlier so I had enough time to take hundreds pics, both the decoration, the teddy bears and ootd pic.

My favourite spot was the sweet corner with bunch of cookies, cupcake & strawberry tartles surrounded by pink roses and many teddy bears sitting, standing, hanging around. The hanging lamp made it even perfect. This is truly wonderland!!! 😍😍😍

There were about 24 girls invited to the event and all were dressed in white and pink. We all were busy taking picture in each spot. I tried not to pass any single spot because that was my first teddy bear cafe that I've ever visited.

After about an hour, the event was started at 10 am. The 2 MC wearing pink and white outfit greeted us and invited Mrs. Retno Sari Ayuningtyas as the Brand Manager of Shinzui Ume. She came to the stage and intruduced the new Ume Body Mist from Shinzui Ume, including the scent type and each character of the fragrance.

After finished with the product description, we had a chance to ask a question about these new body mist. All questions were answered in detail by Mrs. Retno. And after the Q&A session, the MC called the 4 Ume-chan to come in. They all were bringing Ume Body Mist and walked around to let us try the fragrance.

I tried all 4 fragrance and all the scents are nice. But my favourite is the purple one. It called Keiko.
The waiters walked around and share the sandwich in each table for an appetizer while the event continued.

After product explaination, the MC invited the very well known beauty influencer from Surabaya, Stefani Gabriela. She shared some tips about how to be a complete beauty influencer, including how to create a good feeds and contents, how to arrange the schedule, cope with the deadline, and also some photography tips.

She explained that if we want to start to be a beauty influencer, we have to do these 3 basic steps in social media, which are :

1. Choose a platform.
2. Decide your username.
3. Prepare your starter gear.

She also shared, to be a good beauty influencer, we have to :

1. Focus on content.
2. Have a good relationship with other beauty influencer.
3. Remember to reply any comment or question from our follower, brand, community, etc.
4. Create your own content.
5. Keep your followers close.
6. Keep learning because something new is coming everyday.

After sharing the tips, Stefany challenged us to create our own flatlay pic of Ume Body Mist using any ornament provided at the room. I was so excited and here's my flatlay shot. I was hoping to win the challenge and brought the gift home. Unfortunately it wasn't my lucky day. ☹ Well, never mind, i had a fun time though.

At 12.30 pm, we were continued with lunch session. Chicken steak was provided for us and we were entertained by an accoustic band while having our lunch. Claresta and Gita was also joining the band and have a really fun jamming session. They always had a way to cheer up any occasion with their epic style.

After finished the lunch session, we had another challenge by Shinzui Ume. We were given some materials and challenged to create and design our own clutch with the ornaments that provided on the table. And here's mineeee....

The waiters came walk around to share some dessert. We got chocolate pudding and ice cream which satisfied our sweet craving. Nothing better than chocolate right 😄.

So after all the fun and interesting activities for almost 4 hours, we finally came to the last session. Which also the been waited to us all. It was the winner announcement of the best dress, flatlay photo challenge and DIY clutch challenge.

The event was ended with the photoshoot and boomerang session together. I can't ask for more fun and excitement. This was the first and the most interesting event I've ever attended. Everything was blended in beautifully in harmony. The venue, the decoration, the workshop, the goodies, the challenge, the meal provided, everything was so complete and great. I was spoiled.

Ayumi is a pretty and stylish in a sporty way girl who loves cheerleading, beauty vlogging and team sports. The fragrance of Ayumi comes from floral and berries which sweet and fresh. And this fragrance brings the message "Spread Your Beauty".

Hatsune is a preppy girl who loves reading, studying and join in the science club. The fragrance of Hatsune comes from fruits which resulted a fresh scent. And this fragrance brings the message "Show Your Creativity".

Beside the cuteness, this body mist is also travel friendly and very handy. You can easily bring it inside your bag and spray whenever you need. The cute bottle will be such an eye catch for everyone who see it. The price is also affordable for teenagers to buy without thinking. It’s like what you get is more than what you paid for. So with those value, i'm pretty sure this product will reach a great amount of selling.

From all those 4 variants, my favourite is KEIKO. I don't usually believe in coincidence. But I've tried all 4 fragrance before the event started, before Mrs. Retno explained about the character of each fragrance. And my favourite is KEIKO.

After she explained each variant in detail, I was surprised to know that this character is precisely like mine. I'm a ballet dancer, I love pet and I like travelling. And one more, I like purple. So I bet Shinzui Ume Body Mist really made this project in super detail through character survey and create the product just perfect. Bravo!!!

Actually I love all their fragrance, if I have to pick 2 variant for my favourite, my 2nd choice will be AYUMI. I feel so happy to get 4 of them. ❤💕

GARNIER MICELLAR OIL-INFUSED CLEANSING WATER REVIEW (SPONSORED)

It's almost the end of January. Time ran so fast. In my new year resolution, I targetted myself to write at least 5 blog post a month during my busy schedule in order to become more productive this year. And this post is gonna be my 4th blog post on January. That means I still owe myself one more post. Hopefully I can make it before January ended 🤞

Back to the topic, last week I received a package from Sociolla. They sent me a beautiful pink box with a message "Pretty thing inside" at the front. And inside the box, I got a new product from Garnier Indonesia. It's Garnier Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water.

If you look at the product brochure, Garnier already has 2 type of micellar water before. The pink one for dry and sensitive skin, and the blue one for oily and acne prone skin.

And now Garnier has launced the new Micellar Oil called Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water.

Here's the product description :

Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water is an easy way to remove even waterproof make-up, and cleanse and nourish the feel of skin, in 1 step without rinsing. For the 1st time Garnier Micellar technology is formulated with oils. The micelles (cleansing agents) capture impurities like a magnet & lift away dirt from the skin, whilst the oils instantly dissolve all types of make-up.

Now let's observe and see how great this product works. Let me share from the packaging first.

PACKAGING

This micellar oil comes in a transparent slim plastic bottle packaging. It contains 125 ml.

At the back of the packaging, there're some description about this product in both english and indonesian language, including how to use and the ingredient list.

The bottle has a lock cap which sealed with plastic. I prefer this lock cap than a screw cap. I think this lock cap is perfect to prevent the liquid product from leaking.

TEXTURE

This product is almost like a make up remover. It contains micellar water and infused with a yellow colour Argan oil at the top. The direction is also the same as make up remover. You have to shake the bottle until the oil and water mixed up, then pour into the cottonpad.

After you shake the bottle, the oil and water will mix up and you can see some bubble just like u normally see on make up remover. So in my opinion, this is actually a make up remover which has a better cleansing power than the micellar water.


CLEANSING POWER

Now I'm gonna show how this product works in removing make up. Following the instruction, I shaked before pourinh into cottinpad. And it looks like this after shaking.

The oil and micellar water was mixing up and there're some foam bubble at the top of it. Now I'll show how this product works.

Here I've swatch some make up on my hand.

No using this micellar oil, I'm gonna pour some onto the cotton pad.

The texture of this micellar oil is very lightweight, it doesn't feel oily like a make up remover. It just like a normal cleansing water but more moisturizing. And it has a nice and fresh scent. But for me, the fragrance is quite too strong.

Now I'm gonna swipe this cottonpad on one side of the swatches so you can see how much it could remove all those make up with just one swipe.

As you can see, almost all the waterproof make up were clearly wiped out with just once swipe, except for the lip tint you still can see some shadow. Now I'll continue removing all the swatches. And after 4-5 swipes, here's the result.

What I like about this micellar oil is, they didn't leave any sticky or oily feeling like other make up remover. It's just the same as using a moisturizing cleansing water but the cleansing power is way better than micellar water.

Usually to cleanse my make up, i use a make up remover for eye and lips, then continue with milk or oil cleanser for the whole face, and followed by cleansing water. But using this product. I don't need to use another cleanser because it can remove the whole make up perfectly and doesn't leave any residue. So I can directly continue using toner and skincare without double cleanse. 

But for me who has a sensitive skin, the fragrance is too strong. Even after 10-15 minutes, the fragrance was still there. Maybe Garnier Indonesia can concerning about this issue, especially for the people whose sensitive to fragrance. 

So after trying this Micellar oil, here's my pros & cons.

Pros :
~ slim packaging (travel friendly)
~ great cleansing power
~ has a nice n fresh scent
~ doesn't leave any greasy or oily feeling after
~ can remove all waterproof make up
~ no need to rinse with water
~ moisturizing

Cons :
~ fragrance is too strong

Overall, I rate this product 4.5 out of 5 ❤❤❤❤

I'm really excited to share about my favouritr clay mask that I've been using regularly for 3 months and it works wonderful on my skin. Here's Garnier Pure Active Matcha Deep Clean Blackhead & Pore Purifying Clay Mask.

I've tried some clay mask from many different local and imported brand, but most of them made my skin feel tight and dry. I didn't blame them actually, because I aware that I have a dry skin type. Sometimes dehydrated. So I use sheet mask more often.

However, if you wear a lot make up, your skin need to be purified from black head and some remaining residues that trapped inside your pores. That's the reason I still use clay mask regularly beside the sheet mask.

When I heard that Garnier has launched a new clay mask for acne prone skin, i was so curious to try. Especially after reading some good review from many beauty blogger about this product. I have a dry sensitive acne prone skin which makes me very careful in finding a skin care that can suit my skin.

Garnier Pure Active Matcha Deep Clean Blackhead & Pore Purifying Clay mask is a wash off clay mask type with Matcha extra power to clean and control the production oil and reduce blackheads.

This is the newest Garnier's innovation containing 2x matcha extract (compares to Garnier Purr)e Active Matcha Foam), with ONSEN warm effect like sauna sensation.

In just 3 minutes, this clay mask could open and clean the pores from any dirts and polutant, including the over produce oil and automatically reduce blackhead and dullness.

Now I'm gonna show every detail of this product starting from the packaging.

This Clay Mask is packed in a glossy plastic sachet that separated in two. It contains 2 x 6 ml. 1 sachet can be used for 3 times. With only 14K, you can use it for 6 times. This is truely a great value of money. 😍

The packaging is designed in white and matcha green color, with some green tea leaves and matcha designed.

There's a complete description at the back of the packaging, including the product description, how to use, the ingredient list and also the barcode and BPOM registered number. The descriptions are written in 3 different languages, indonesian, english and thai.

And the expired date is printed at the front left side of the packaging.

Talking about the texture, this clay mask has a thick green creamy texture, it almost like a toothpaste but less rich and it smells between a floral and delicious green tea latte 😍😍😍. I'm not a green tea fan but i luv this smells somehow.

This clay mask is also easy to spread because it's not a peel off clay mask type which will fastly dry. So the texture will stay the same after you applied on the skin and spread it. Well, maybe just dry a little but not like a peel off mask.

I'm gonna show tou how I use this mask on my face. I usually use this at night after cleanse my face. I supposed to use a mask brush to spread the mask, but since I don't have one so I only used my fingers. It works though 😂😂😂

Here's how it look like after spreading. I use it all over my face and leave it for about 5 minutes, it was 2 minutes longer than the instruction but i don't mind. I felt like an ogre in Shrek everytime I use this mask 😄😄😄

You will feel a warm sensation right after application but will disappear in a minute. There's no tingling sensation like most of other clay mask I've tried. That's why I love it.

After 5 minutes, I directly washed and cleaned them all with cool water and pat dry my face. My face will feel smooothhh and very relax after. Maybe it's due to the ONSEN sensation which works wonder on calming my skin. Here's my before & after pic.

I don't know whether you can notice the difference. But I can feel my skin become smoother, a bit brighter and less dull than before. If I have some small bumps after too much make up, they will dry out fast. And if I had acne, they can be faster cured with this mask.

And the most important is, this clay mask didn't break me out or dry my skin. Which such a saviour for me.

So after using this mask regularly for more than 3 months, here's my pros and cons.
