It's already the 2nd month of 2018. And I'm back again to share about the newest cushion from Cathy Doll Indonesia. It's been quite long since my last review about cushion. I'm more into foundations lately, but now I guess it's time to go back to cushion for a natural glowing skin look.
So the cushion I want to share today is the one inside the Cathy Doll goodie bag that I got during Surabaya Beauty Blogger 3rd Soiree last month. Here is the Cathy Doll Aloe Snail Moist Cushion with SPF 50 PA+++.
As you guys know, Cathy Doll has been a very popular brand since few years ago. All of their products are produced in Thailand but the ingredient are formulated in Korea.
I've known this brand from one of the Online Shop in Indonesia which imported foreign cosmetic and skin care. And I'm really in love with all their cute design and packaging. Their product quality is very good and worth the price. So, after knowing that Cathy Doll is already had an official counter in Surabaya, I'm really excited. 😍😍😍
Without further say, I'm gonna review this newest cushion from Cathy Doll, starting from the packaging.
The packaging box is designed with a combination of white and minty green colour. There are snail and aloe illustration spreading at the front of the packaging box.
There are benefit list written at the left side of the packaging box showing that this cushion has 9 on 1 function. And there are also ingredient list below.
At the right side you can see some description written in Thai letters.
The shade information is printed at the top of the packaging box. And here I got shade #21 True Bright. For normal to dry skin type. Which is definitely my skin type. 😍
And there are a barcode and information about manufacture date and expired date at the bottom of the packaging box.
If you peel off the sticker label, there you can see product description written in english and hangeul.
Now let's jump to the product.
This aloe snail cushion also comes in a minty green and white colour cushion case with with snail and aloe illustration spreading in front of the front case, just like the one in the packaging box.
If you opened the case, there are mirror and cushion puff just like a usual cushion. And it written Baby Bright at the cushion puff's handling ribbon.
There are some information on the seal written in hangeul and I don't know what it means because I can't read hangeul.
Now I'm gonna open the sealed label and show you the cushion shade. Here it is...
It has a light beige color. Not too light and not too dark either.
3 from all 9 benefits that made me curious to try this cushion was because it has skin nourishment, blemish treatment and cooling effect.
So here's my bare face. I only use essence & moisturizer. I usually use my basic skin care before applying cushion or bb cream or foundation. You can see I have some acne scars on my left cheek due to previous break out.
And now I'm gonna use this cushion on half part of my face so you can see the difference. I applied on the left side of my face where the acne scar visible. And here's the result.
This cushion has a fresh aloe scent which is very calming. And it feels lightweight while applied into my skin. And although it claimed to have natural coverage, I think the coverage is pretty good to cover my acne scar. It brightened my skin without making it look too pale.
Now let me continue on my whole face and will let it stay for few hours to let you know how good the oil control of this cushion. Hopefully my sensitive skin will not react to the ingredients. Wish me luck 🙇♀️

And after 4 hours, here how it looked like.
This picture above proved that this cushion does have a really good oil control. It even looked a bit matte compare to the first application. And it didn't break out my skin. I didn't feel itchy or something even though there's fragrance in the ingredient list. I'm pretty sure they use a natural fragrance from aloe so my skin didn't show any allergic reaction.
Usually if I wear cushion, i need to touch up every 4 hours or use a little touch of finishing loose powder so my face won't look greasy. But this cushion is a pro!!! It even looks more better like my natural skin after few hours. It didn't fade at all. This is really the best cushion that I've ever tried. I'm so in love ❤😍
After trying this cushion, here's my pros and cons.

~ buildable
~ pretty good coverage
~ didn't break me out
~ good oil control
~ has a fresh & calming scent
~ soothing my skin & reduce small bumps
~ has SPF 50 PA+++
~ beautiful packaging
Cons :
~ none so far
So with all those benefits, I rate this cushion 5 out of 5 ❤❤❤❤❤
This is totally my honest review. At first i was quite worry to try because i saw fragrance on the ingredient list. But after trying it out, I just can't find any cons on this product. I will definitely repurchase this cushion.
I think this cushion is also suitable for oily skin. It does moisturize the skin but at the same time also control the oil producion. So if you have oily or combination skin, you still can use this cushion.
