HUMAYRA CLEANSING CREAM FIRST IMPRESSION & SHORT REVIEW (SPONSORED)

Today I wanna share with you a new local brand which officially launched on Surabaya Beauty Blogger 7th soiree this month. Introducing Humayra, an UKM which produced a natural product using mangrove fruit extract as the main ingredients.

In this post, I will share my first impression and short review about Humayra Cream (cleansing cream) because it's very unique, has a good benefit for my skin and this also a hand made product. I need to share this especially to all those skin care enthusiast out there.

Humayra Cream is a cleansing cream which produced using mangrove fruit extract as the main ingredient and infused with jasmine fragrance. It contains vitamin A & E and can only be used for face.

Based on the founder's explaination, this cream has some benefits such as :

~ thightened pores
~ reduced acne scar
~ reduced wrinkle
~ deep cleansed
~ brightened skin
~ maintain youthful looking skin

Ingredients :
Water solvent, sodium palmiant, sodium sulfate, fragrance, fixative, CL colorant, mangrove fruit extract.

It comes in a simple plastic jar packaging with a metal screw cap. It was designed with green label which represent natural plant idea.

If you open the screw cap, you can see the cream is like a thick fruit juice extract with broken white color.

The texture of this cream is really different from usual cleansing cream. I never seen mangrove fruit before, so I will try to explain the texture with the other fruit I know. The texture is like a srikaya fruit (custard-apple). And it smells like some kind of fruit sap with a little jasmine scent.

If you massage this cream on your skin, the texture will melt down and the texture will turn into a thick mucus texture that's quite sticky.

At first, I felt awkward to use such a cream and I wonder whether this kind of cream could really clean my face. Beside, I don't really like how it smells especially after it melt down. Howevdr, after rinsing them off, i was amazed with the result. Let me show you how it works.

So here's my face before cleansing. It looked dull and oily on the T-zone area.

Then I put some of the cream using ny finger. I wish they come with spatula so I don't need to use my finger. It such a problem because I have long nails.

After that, I massage these cream all over my face for a few minutes until the texture turns to thick sticky mucus.

Then I rinse them off with water. I first thought it would be difficult to rinse that sticky cream, but I was wrong. It's so easy to rinse off and my face became squeaky clean after rinsing.

As you can see, my face is totally clean, instantly brighter and it also tightened my pores. I've been using this cream for few days and it doesn't break out my sensitive skin.

Here you can see before and after using this cream. It was amazing for a hand made local product to do such a thing.

If you have a dry skin type, I suggest you to use moisturizer right after cleansing.

FYI, even though this is a cream cleanser, but it can't erase waterproof make up, I suggest you to use make up remover first to clean your eye and lip make up because this cream can make your eyes smarting if the residue accidentally come inside your eyes. 

So, after trying this Humayra Cream, here's my pros and cons.

Pros :
~ using natural ingredient
~ not tested on animal
~ paraben free
~ very good cleansing power
~ tightened pores
~ didn't break out my skin
~ instantly brightened my skin
~ can be used for a face massage cream

Cons :
~ doesn't come with spatula
~ smells strange (but i started to get used to it)
~ a bit drying after cleansing
~ can cause eye smarting
~ can't erase waterproof make up

SMOOTO NATURAL RECIPE SKIN CARE (SERUM, MOISTURE GEL & MASK) REVIEW (SPONSORED)

This month's gonna be a productive month for me. I feel like I have some booster to write and share more post than the few previous month. And today I'm back again with another skin care review from Smooto.

Smooto is one of thailand skin care brand which manufactured with Japan technology. The word Smooto comes from "smoothie" which represent fruits. They use japan fruit extract for their main ingredient in developing their skin care products. And all those ingredients are natural.

Last week, I got a package from Smotoo Indonesia containing 3 of their products. I got Tomato Collagen White Serum, Aloe-E Snail Bright Gel and Tomato Collagen White & Smooth Mask.

All those product come in a plastick packaging. The packaging design is very cute and colorful. And they are travel friendly, too. So without further do, let's discover each of them.

1. SMOOTO TOMATO COLLAGEN WHITE SERUM

A whitening serum with 10x more powerful concentrate compare to regular serum, which has the benefit to repair damage and dehidrated skin and make it brighter.

One sachet equals to 10 fresh tomatoes that will make your skin glowing and look brighter than before. It can be used day and night before moisturizer.

At the back of the packaging, you can see the ingredient list and notif that this product is made with natural recipe, not tested on animal and BPOM certified. It has both english and thai description, and also indonesian description printed in a sticker label.

The packaging has a small screw cap at the edge and it's pretty to avoid the serum from leaking.

This serum has a gel texture with which is very light weight and easy to absorbed. The color of the gel is milky white with some red tiny beads spreading which will be melted once you massaged into the skin. It has a nice soft tomato fragrance and doesn't irritate my sensitif skin.

Once it fully absorbed into the skin, you can see such a bright and shimmer on your skin. I don't know whether it comes from that small red beads or the serum. However, it gives natural glowing effect on your skin.

After using this serum for a week, I can see my face looks brighter than before. Here's my pros & cons.

2. SMOOTO ALOE-E SNAIL BRIGHT GEL

An aloe soothing and moisture gel with 99.5% aloe extract concentrate, vitamin E and snail extract which is very light weight, easy to absorbed and suitable for all skin type, even for sensitive skin.

It has 10 benefits such as :

~ post laser treatment
~ calming sensitive skin
~ sleeping mask
~ soothing sun burnt skin
~ treat acne scar and pimple
~ hand and nail moisturizer
~ fading under eyed dark circles
~ fading scar
~ skin primer for long lasting make up

Suggested to put into the refrigerator for cooling effect.

Just like the tomato serum, at the back of the packaging, you can see the ingredient list and notif that this product is not tested on animal and BPOM certified. It has both english and thai description, and also indonesian description printed in a sticker label.

The packaging has a small screw cap at the edge, but bigger than the cap on the serum before. It's perfectly sealed and it pretty safe to avoid the gel from leaking.

This product has a transparent green gel texture which is very light weight and easy to absorbed. A little goes long the way. It has a soft aloe fragrance that is very calming gives cooling effect.

The gel will melt into watery texture when you massage into the skin and quickly absorbed without feeling sticky.

So after trying this aloe gel for a week, here's my pros and cons.

3. SMOOTO TOMATO COLLAGEN WHITE & SMOOTH MASK

A fresh tomato mask which restore vitality of dehidrated skin, brightened skin, tightened pores and reduce excess oil on your skin that will make your skin smoother and healthier.

It suggested to be used after washing or scrubbing your face, applying on the whole face, leaving for 5-10 minutes then rinse off. Can be used 2-3 times a week for maximum result.

One pack of this mask equals to 10 fresh tomatoes.

Just like the 2 previos product before, at the back of the packaging, you can see the ingredient list and notif that this product is made with natural recipe and BPOM certified. It has both english and thai description, and also indonesian description printed in a sticker label.

The packaging can be splitted into 2 sachets, and each sachet can be used for 2 times masking. So overall, it can be used 4 times.

This is a wash off mask type. It has jelly like texture with transparent red color and some small red beads spreading inside. It smells like a fresh tomato and the scent is a bit stronger than the serum.

After applying on my skin, I can directly feel the cooling effect and it feels relaxing for me. Some of my friend said they experienced heat sensation after few minutes, but for me, I can only feel the cooling sensation.

I leave it for 10 minutes and I rinsed them off with water. And this time, I had to struggling in wash it off. It's so slippery and difficult to wipe with my hand. I think i might need cleansing sponge to make it easier. It took me few minutes to rinse until all the remaining mask were cleansed.

But after the mask has completely rinsed off, the result was really good. My face instanly became brighter and oil free. Pores felt tighter and my skin felt so smooth. I really love the final result. But I don't like the rinsing part 😂😂😂. Here's how my skin looks after using this mask.

So after trying this mask, here's my pros and cons.

Pros :

So my personal thought about this brand, it's totally a worth a try skin care brand considering the price is affordable and the the benefit & result are good for the skin. However, everyone has different skin type  with different sensitized to different ingredients. 

I have a dry sensitive skin. I have allergic to alcohol and some fragrance or essential oil. But the fragrance in this skin care doesn't make my skin react. So I'm happy with that and curious to try some other products from Smooto.

CLINELLE PURE SWISS HYDRA CALM SKIN CARE SERIES REVIEW (SPONSORED)

I've been waiting day by day till 14 days to finally can share this post. And I'm so excited to share my new skin care routine that I loooove so much since my first try. Here's Clinelle Pure Swiss Hydra Calm skin care series from Clinelle Indonesia.

Two weeks ago, I've been invited to Clinelle "7 secrets for youthful skin" beauty event. During skin check session, I was suggested to try their skin care range bases on my skin type. And the skin expert suggested me to try the Pure Swiss Hydra Calm series that suitable for my dry and sensitive skin.

What I like and decided to try this skin care range is because all of their products are dermatologic tested. Beside, they also 7 no's :

And the Pure Swiss Hydra Calm series is manufactured in France and claimed as below.

So I got 8 items of their 7 steps skin care plus 1 body treatment. I got cleansing milk for pre-cleanser, cleansing gel for double cleanse, hydrating lotion, hydrating serum, eye serum (I chose the caviar gold one), hydrating cream, 2 sheet mask and hot body firmness cream. I also got lucky to win a big bottle of thermal spring water.

Without further do, let's take a look at each of them.

1. CLINELLE PURE SWISS HYDRA CALM CARING MILK CLEANSER.

A rinse off sulfate free milk cleanser that effectively removes impurities while maintaining skin moisture levels. It helps to calm the sensitized skin cause by environmental aggression. Skin feels clean, moisturized and soft.

This cleansing milk comes in a sky blue plastic tube packaging. The information about product benefit, way of use and the ingredients is written at the back of the packaging.

It has pop up cap which pretty safe to avoid leaking.

It has light milky texture and easy to spread for cleansing and has no fragrance.

Here i swached a waterproof eyeliner, matte lipstick, concealer and eyebrow pencil and i will show you how this clenser works.

As you can see, this milk cleanser can erase all those swatches. But for the waterproof eyeliner, you need extra effort to massage until it fully cleansed. I suggest you to keep using make up remover for all waterproof make up before using this milk cleanser.

For my experience, I feel such a warm & tingling on my lips and eye area while using this milk cleanser. But so far it doesn't break out my sensitive skin. So I will surely keep on using this cleanser.

The different between this milk cleanser to others is you don't need to wipe with cottonpad. You can directly use water to wipe the remaining make up after use this cleanser.

Overall, I rate this milk cleanser 4 out of 5.

2. CLINELLE PURE SWISS HYDRA CALM CLEANSING GEL.

A gentle foamy sulfate free cleanser delicately cleanses impurities & excess sebum without over stripping skin's natural moisture. Skin feels refreshed, soft and supple.

This cleansing gel comes in a sky blue plastic tube packaging. The information about product benefit, way of use and the ingredients is written at the back of the packaging.

It also has a pop up cap like the milk cleanser which is pretty safe to avoid leaking.

This cleansing gel has a transparen gel texture with no fragrance.

It doesn't foam up with water like other cleansing gel I know. It's very light and calming. It doesn't dry out my skin and doesn't make my skin feel tight. And it cleanse the remaining residu perfectly. I tested by over cleansed my face with micellar water after using this cleansing gel and there were nothing there on the cotton pad.

This is the best cleansing gel I've ever tried which doesn't break me out. I've tried many cleanser and gave up trying. I thought i could never be able to use cleansing gel or foam to double cleanse because I'm allergic to soap. And sls can easily make my skin break out. But this cleanser is a pro. It's already on my holy grail list!!! Thanks Clinelle I found you 🙏

3. CLINELLE PURE SWISS HYDRA CALM LOTION.

A superbly light texture, water like hydrating lotion that helps to nourish, refine & plump up skin. The hydrating power of this lotion refined the pores and improves the absorbtion of subsequent skincare products. Skin is snoother, hydrated & conditioned.

This lotion comes in a transparent blue plastic bottle. The information about product benefit, way of use and the ingredients amis written at the back of the bottle packaging.

It has a screw cap and also flip up cap inside for extra protect and avoid leaking. And I personally love it because it's safe for travel.

This lotion has a thick liquid texture with a little smells like pool water. It feels a bit sticky at first that disappear after absorbed into the skin. It's such a combination of skin toner, starting treatment & conditioner all in one. And it deeply hydrate my skin.

I really love this lotion. It easy to absorbed and doesn't leave sticky feeling even though I use it for about 3 layers. And the bottle is pretty bit. I can use as much as I need during the day and it makes my skin stay hydrated.

Overall, I rate this lotion 5 out of 5.

4. CLINELLE PURE SWISS HYDRA CALM SERUM.

An intensive serum that boosts skin's hydration & locks in moisture for long lasting effects. Skin is plumped, moisturized & silky soft.

This serum comes in a blue plastic bottle with pump.
The information about product benefit & way of use is written at the back of the both bottle packaging and box packaging. The ingredient list is written at the box packaging.

It has a pull out cap with pump inside.

This serum has a gel consistency which is very lightweight and easy to absorb. It doesn't feel sticky at all and 1-2 pump can cover the whole face.

I like this serum because it absorbed quickly and I don't need to wait to apply moisturizer like other serum. And it does hydrate my skin, easy to spread and has no fragrance.

Overall, I rate this serum 4.5 out of 5.

5. CLINELLE PURE SWISS HYDRA CALM CREAM.

A non greasy and light weight cream that provides intense hydration & restores moisture in your skin for long lasting hydration. It smooths away the appearance of dry lines & reduces oil secretion for a supple, matte & refreshed skin.

This cream comes in a blue glass jar with silver screw cap. And it also comes with a box packaging.
The information about product benefit & way of use is written at the back of the both bottle packaging and box packaging. The ingredient list is written at the box packaging.

There is a plastic cap inside when you open this jar. But it doesn't come with a spatula. It quite difficult for me using a cream in a jar without spatula since I have long nails.

This cream has a thicker gel consistency compare to the serum and it also very light weight, moist and easy to absorb. It's very calming and my skin feels drinked up after using this last step. I really love how it feels. It doesn't sticky or heavy no matter how much cream you put on. I hope Clinelle will consider to include the spatula because it's really needed.

6. CLINELLE PURE SWISS THERMAL SPRING WATER.

Thermal spring water from Switzerlans, with a rich historical tradition that has offered natural cures for centuries, Clinelle Pure Swiss is naturally rich in 20 regenerating rare minerals that your skin needs. Recommended for all skin types including sensitive skin, this soothing water with low nitrate works effectively with RX3 Mineral Action for the following efficacies.

This product comes in a aluminium spray bottle packaging with blue pop up cap. The information about product benefit, way of use and the ingredients is written at the back of the bottle packaging.

This product comes in 3 size.

You can use this product for face, body, hand, feet, nails & scalp. It has many benefits as you can see below.

I use this product for my face after I washed my face with cleansing gel, it felt a bit dry and tingling at first. I think because this product contains sulfur. But it doesn't break out my skin. 

I tried to spray after exercise to my whole face and neck, and it feels so refreshing. I think for dry skin, it's better to be sprayed on after make up to lock them up. Or if your face become oily. 

I can't say more about this spring water since I hasn't use to other part beside my face. But I will try it and let you know through my instagram for the update. Since I have the biggest bottle, I can spray it everywhere on my body. 😂😂😂.

Overall, I rate this thermal spring water 4 out of 5.

FYI, this product hasn't been launched yet. But it will be available soon in the Guardian this mid year. I can't wait for that because I might repurchase this spring water.

7. CLINELLE CAVIAR GOLD FIRMING EYE SERUM.

An eye serum that lifts & firms eyelids. Fade fine lines & wrinkles. Helps diminished dark circles, fade puffiness & eyebags. Eye area is hydrated & brightened.

This product comes in a transparent plastic bottle packaging with gold pop up cap. And it also comes with a box packaging. The information about product benefit & way of use is written at the back of the both bottle packaging and box packaging. The ingredient list is written at the box packaging.

If you open the cap, there's a pump inside.

This eye serum has a light gel consistency with gold sprinkle inside. You can see through the zoom pic below.

Eye area is my most concern part. And in my mid 30, I started to have fine lines around my eyes. I also have problems with dark circles and eye bags. That's why I chose the caviar gold eye serum based on what it claimed.

It claimed that it can lift the eye area to 2 mm if you use it regularly for 5 weeks. Now I've been using this eye serum for 2 weeks but I could already see the result on my fine lines and eye bag, especially at the inner corner part. Here I was given an eye ruler to measure, and this is my before after pic after using this eye serum for 14 days.

The still couldn't really see the lifting effect but I see a big difference on my fine lines, eyebag and dark circle here.

8. CLINELLE WHITEN UP WHITENING FACIAL MASK.

This sheet mask is rich with essence and the size is fit to my face. It does moisture and brightened my skin. But I think the essence is a bit too watery. I prefer thicker consistency so the essence won't droply falling too much. For fading dark spot, I haven't seen the difference since I only use it once. I think I need to use regularly for better result. But I love it so far.

9. CLINELLE CAVIAR GOLD FIRMING FACIAL MASK.

A moisturing firming mask enrich with Caviar extracts that is rich in advanced nutrients to boost skin's elasticity. It smoothens, softens, help reduce fine lines & wrinkles. Skin is firmer, uplifted & brighter.

This is another sheet mask varian from Clinelle.

Compare to the whiten up mask, this mask has thicker essence consistency. And I like this mask better than the whiten up because of that. Here's how this sheet mask fit in to my face.

And after using this mask for 20 minutes, I squeezed the remaining essence and it still a lot. I massaged them all over my face and I feel my skin become plumper and moist. This is one of the best mask I've ever tried and I'm gonna stock them up soon.

So here's my personal opinion about this skin care line.

For a skincare enthusiast like myself, I always concern about the ingredients and safety of every skin care product I used. Especially since I have a very sensitive break out to prone skin type. I can feel the product is not suitable for my skin since the first try. 

After trying this whole range of Clinelle Pure Swiss Hydra Calm series, my skin directly fell in love with them. There were no single break out or irritation until today and my skin becomes better. Hydrated, firm, less oily on the T-zone area and plumper. 

Here's how my skin look like before & after applying 7 steps of Pure Swiss Hydra Calm Series.

On the picture above you can see even after layering the skin care, it doesn't look oily or heavy on my face. All are absorbed well and deeply hydrated my skin.

And I really love the result in the morning after wake up. My skin become plumper and firmer and a bit brighter the morning after applying those routine. Here's how it looks. And this is no filter.

Repurchase? Absolutely yes.

Even though I need some extra moisture containing ceramide for my dry skin, I will keep using this hydra calm series and adding my ceramide moisturizer for the last step at night. It does make my skin a lot better than before.
