Few days ago, I got a package from Exoticon. They sent me their newest contact lens series called KOKO BLACK. It's a big eyes series contact lens in black full print.
KOKO BLACK comes in 4 different pattern and all of them are fancy. Here are the picture of each pattern.
~ GOTHIC
~ STONE
~ JET BLACK
~ MARBLE
Here I got the STONE pattern.
They afe packed in a beautiful glossy black box packaging with gold ribbon printing. It looks classy and glam for a contact lens packaging.
The specs of KOKO BLACK lens are printed in a white sticker label that sticked on the upper side of the packaging box. Including the pattern type, expire date, power range, lot and the barcode.
Other information are printed at each side of the box.
The pattern type is shown at the bottom right of the packaging box.
If you opened the box, there's a note that the user's instructions are printed at the inner side of the packaging box.
And here's the instructions.
Now let me jump to the product.
Inside the box, there's a pair of contact lense packed and sealed in a plastic packaging.
All the information about the pattern, power range, lot and expired date are also written at the plastic seal.
If you turned it upside down, you can see the contact lens through this transparent plastic packaging.
Since they come in black, i wonder whether the pattern will be visible while we used. But we'll see.
Before using a new contact lens, I usually soak the lens in a lens case full of solution for few hours. I did it to disinfect the lense and avoid eye irritation.
Now that the lenses are perfectly clean and ready to be used, I'll first use in one of my eye to see the different between my normal eye size and the one that using this contact lens. Here it is.
I already put the lens on one of my eye and you can directly see the different in size.
I will use this lens in both of ny eyes so you can see how it looks like.
That was cool! And look at the pattern. At first i thought it wouldn't be visible, but I was wrong. I can clearly see the pattern and it was so clear even without enough light. And I love it.
I'm gonna show the zoom version so you can see more clearly how visible the pattern is.

Looked like there's a combination of black and dark green pattern. So pretty. I don't even need a fake eyelashes or thick eyeliner to make my eyes look bigger. How cool is that!
I already use this KOKO BLACK contact lens for a whole day. And based on my experience as a long time contact lense's user, here's my honest review out of the benefit of making my eyes look bigger.
I usually use a contact lense with 50% water contain. This contact lens only have 42% water contain. But I'm impressed because it didn't dry my eyes. I don't need to use eye drop after using it for more than 12 hours.
Not only that, this lens is very comfortable. Usually some of the lens with bigger diameter can't really stay at the centre of your eyes. But I didn't have any problem with this one. Approved!
I'm also excited to know that this lens has my power range. Sometimes the lens with special pattern will not available for my minus. And the price is affordable with good quality.
So after trying this KOKO BLACK contact lens. Here's my pros & cons.
Pros :
~ didn't feel dry after 12 hours
~ beautiful pattern
~ make my eyes look bigger
~ comfortable to use
~ affordable
~ can be used for 6 months
~ stay on
~ pretty packaging
~ affordable
~ very thun lens
Cons :
~ doesn't contain O2
~ only available online
Overall, I rate this lens 4.5 out of 5.
❤❤❤❤💕
Here's my final look using KOKO BLACK contact lens in STONE pattern. I only use eyeshadow, thin eyeliner and no fake eyelashes. But this lens already made my eyes look dramatic.
