I'm back again with another event report from the Balm Cosmetic. The Balm one of the most popular make up brand from USA. Their product has won many heart of all those make up junkies out there.
So last Saturday, I was invited by Caroline, one of the multi talented girl from Surabaya Beauty Blogger to attend her "flawless complexion" make up demo featuring the Balm Cosmetics.
The invitation was at 2 pm. I arrived at Ciputra world a bit too early, so I went to Starbucks to grab my 2nd doze of caffein. I bought their Christmas special beverage, vanilla nougat latte, took a seat at the corner and had my phone battery recharged.
After my battery has fully charged, i went into The Balm Cosmetic booth at the ground floor in front of Kate Spade. The make up demo was not placed at their store but at the exhibition floor.
As I got into the booth, Olin was already there with Adele, her model for the make up demo. She was busy preparing all the stuff and placed them neatly at the make up desk. She was such an OCD but I think that's a good poin while you were doing make up.
While she was still preparing, I walked around to see the Balm make up collection and took some pics. I really loveeeeeee the packaging. They remind me of an old comic book. And the names are cute too.
After finished capturing some of the make up collection, I signed for a registration. And i got a voucher worth 50K which could be used on that day. Yayyy 😍😍😍
Few minutes later, Olin has finished preparing and ready for her make up demo. Look at how well she prepared....
Everything was placed so neat and perfect. I need to learn from her exactly. I'm a messy person and can't believe how she will react while looking into my make up desk at home 😂😂😂
At 2.20 pm, Olin greet all the invitation guess and said her heartful thanks for attending her make up demo. How humble. Beside me, Ce Fanny Blackrose, Claresta and her sis Fio were also came to support Olin. That'a what sisters are for, no. 😊
And the make up demo was begun. Olin started by applying primer, concealer and foundation on Adele's face. She looked so expert in this field.
She concealed all the tiny flaw carefully for more perfect complexion.
Then, she moved into blush and shading part. Claresta was being serious at this pic. What a rare moment 😂😂😂
After done, she worked on the eye part. She put eyeshadow base before applying eye make up on Adele's lid. And continued by blending the eyeshadow.
She also used the eye shadow to contour the nose. One advise I got from her, which she also got from the super talented make up artist Ce Fanny Blackrose, you need to contour from lower part of the nose bone and bring up into the upper nose to make the contour looks more natural.
And there came the most difficult part. The eyebrows. I don't know whether it was difficult for her since she did it so fast and the result was perfect.
And the final part was lips. She was a lipstick junkie who has tons of lipstick. So she definitely knew the best shade for Adele. She used lip liner before putting on lipstick on Adele's lips.
I forgot to capture the last part while Olin was putting on mascara because i was busy doing insta story. But after all, here's the result....

As you can see, the result proved that Olin has took the job very seriously and look at how flawless Adele is. She's already pretty and looks even more stunning with Olin's make up. With good make up squad from The Balm Cosmetics, she made Adele looks perfectly flawless.
I think i will start saving to buy some make up from The Balm Cosmetics since this is a high end make up brand. I'm craving for Evan Steven foundation. O luvvv 😍😍😍
The event ended by capturing the moment together with all beauty enthusiast who presented on the event, in front of the Balm Cosmetic booth.
I feel honour to be invited. I can try and swatched some of The Balm make up collection and also I learned about flawless make up which looks natural but hard to achieve.
